Flood Plains Collection · Limited-Edition Prints on Metal

You’ve been walking past that wall for a year

Tell me about the room and I'll recommend the Flood Plains piece I'd put there, and at what size. Not an algorithm, not a bestseller list. Me.

STEP 1 OF 2: WHERE SHOULD I SEND IT?

Next: five quick taps about the room, about 90 seconds. No obligation.

What happens next

  • You answer five quick questions about the room.

  • I read them myself.

  • Within three or four days you get a written note from me: which pieces I’d put on that wall, at what size, and why.

  • You can then see any of them on your own wall at actual size using your phone camera, before deciding anything.

Why I ask instead of recommending

Three things go wrong when people buy art online, and none of them are about taste.

  • Scale

Almost everyone who regrets a purchase regrets the size, not the image.

  • Light

The same piece is a different object in morning light and under lamps.

  • The room

Art sits among the furniture, the paint, the window, and the way you move through the space.

Who I am

Maciek Peter Kozlowski, Canadian artist and founder of Magic Peter Art

Maciek “Magic” Peter Kozlowski. I paint the landscapes and flood plains around Ottawa and the Kichi Zibi, and I’ve been making and selling work for forty years. Artist of the Year in the U.K. in 2017. My prints are archival, signed and numbered, and made to be lived with rather than stored.

There is no obligation in any of this. If my answer is that nothing I make suits your room, I’ll tell you that.
